The Fit Family children today returned to swimming training at California's Mills College. Swimming is one of the activities organized by Endurance - A Sports and Psychology Center and sponsored by Healthy Hearts program at Children’s Hospital Oakland to help families keep fit and healthy. The other activities are biking, running and lessons on health nutrition.
Endurance Center Director Cory Nyamora and two members of staff attended today’s training session, which was conducted by coaches provided by Mills College.
The next swimming training will be on Saturday November 7th, 2015 from 10.30 a.m.- 12.30 p.m. at Mills College Pool – 5000 MacArthur Blvd. Oakland, CA. 94613
The training is for kids who are trying to get healthier and more active. At least one parent is required to attend and parents are welcome to swim too.
Cost: $15 per child per session – (if you can pay more please do as this will help other families with limited resources to attend). If parents want to swim, they can pay an extra fee directly at the pool ($7) otherwise, you can just come and watch your child and participate in the program. If anyone needs a reduced fee please let us know.
