Media, Politics, and Bravery in a One-Party State

Featuring guests Pius and Loyce Nyamora - February, 2013 (Specific date and time TBA)

As part of our series to help spread more knowledge about some of the cultural, social, and political history of Kenya, we are pleased to welcome Pius Nyamora an award winning journalist and his wife Loyce Nyamora - a courageous business partner to our series. The Nyamoras received political asylum in the US after publishing one of the only independent news magazines that dared to criticize and report on corruption in the national government. Their efforts led to a multi-party system in Kenya today. Please visit the Nyamora Communications website to learn more about their work.

RSVP now to get on our guest list. Details will be sent to you once we confirm our location/date.
