Supervised by Dr. Cory Nyamora.

Quentin Baldwin is a 3rd year Psy.D student at California Northstate University, College of Psychology. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology at California State University, Sacramento. Quentin’s focus is on sports psychology, particularly managing performance anxiety. Additionally, he has personal experience in combat sports (mixed martial arts, boxing, wrestling, brazilian jiu-jitsu, kickboxing), in which he still actively participates.

As a psychology trainee, Quentin believes everyone has a unique story filled with past experiences, challenges, personal values, and strengths that require tailored strategies to meet the client’s needs. Quentin recognizes the client as the expert in their own lives and seeks to empower them to develop the skills they need to overcome their current challenges. Quentin is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Quentin’s goal is to provide a safe and collaborative environment that supports client growth to their highest potential.
