Maggie Krier is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been working in the field of mental health for nearly 20 years. She received her Masters Degree at the University of San Francisco in Counseling Psychology.
Maggie has experience working with young children, adolescents, individual adults, couples and families. She was trained in short term cognitive behavioral, and family therapies and integrates mindfulness into her work. Her goal as a therapist is to help others find that inner strength, natural ability to grow and healthy ways of coping with the stresses of daily life.
In her work with couples and families, Maggie encourages healthy ways of communicating to enhance intimacy and closeness. She also works with children and adolescents to help them cope with various issues like divorce, relationships and stresses related to growing up. Her work with individuals encompasses life transitions and working on personal growth. Additionally, Maggie’s style is interactive, warm and caring.
