Endurance – A Sports & Psychology Center, Inc. provides outdoor adventures and travel, sports training, and psychotherapy for children, adults and families. Our goal is to enhance your well-being and encourage life-long positive habits and skills.
We offer trainings provided by qualified staff on a regular basis. You may select one or more trainings to suit the needs of your organization or group.

Title: How to help your children improve their health (5 hours – Five 1 hour classes)
Description: This presentation is for families whose children are at risk for medical problems related to childhood obesity and are under the care of a Medical Provider who has advised them to lose weight in a healthy sustainable way. The presentations will focus on a concrete, step by step method that families can take to improve the physical and mental health of their children. The class is broken down into a series of Five one-hour classes.
Who will benefit from this training?
Parents and relatives with children struggling with their weight and health and who are under the care of a Medical Provider who has suggested healthy weight loss and a change in eating and exercise habits
Outcome Objectives: By the end of the training, attendees will be able to:
Learn effective steps to prepare and commit to change
Identify and implement fun and effective exercise/activity for their kids and family
Implement changes to improve the nutrition and diet of their child and family
Help their child increase their confidence
Practice effective ways to teach their child to eliminate any teasing and bullying they may be facing

Title: Run Like a Kenyan…In Kenya (1 hour)
Description: Come and learn about a unique opportunity to travel with Endurance - A Sports & Psychology Center, Inc.’s Run Like a Kenyan…In Kenya program. This program takes travelers on a guided trip to Kenya to experience the rich culture and running traditions there. The package includes excellent accommodations, most meals, and unique guided sightseeing tours in Kenya. We visit urban hubs of contemporary culture and international business, world-class wildlife reserves and parks, five star coastal regions and quiet rural running towns. Participants have the option of running in a half-marathon or marathon and optional training components are available prior to traveling to Kenya. Serious runners will also have the opportunity to run with and train with the Kenyans in Kenya.

Title: Using sports and psychology to improve the health of youth and families (1.5 hours)
Description: This presentation will focus on the causes of childhood obesity, the impact on our youth, families and communities, as well as concrete and effective solutions to improve the physical and mental health of our youth and families and make positive changes in our communities.
