Running does not have to be stressful for kids, says coach

The Director of Endurance—A Sports and Psychology Center, Dr. Cory Nyamora, today demonstrated how proper coaching and parents’ involvement could make running great fun for kids who want to improve their fitness and health. Coach Cory, a certified triathlon and running coach, was training kids and their parents at California’s Clark Kerr Track, in Berkeley. Coach Sam assisted in today's training.

Coach Cory says: “Many times kids who are trying to get in better shape get stressed about running and being able to do well with their mile time tests in school,”

“We can help with that! We’ll help you improve your time, build your confidence and in the process learn to love running.”

A week ago, the same kids and parents enjoyed a day of riding and walking on a beautiful trail in Marin County, California. Endurance Center and Trips for Kids sponsored the biking as a way of making families fit and healthy.

Endurance Center also offers triathlon and swimming training for kids.
