A group of kids and families today enjoyed biking at a beautiful Marin County trail, in California’s China Camp National Park.

Endurance – A Sports and Psychology Center, Inc. organized the trip, sponsored byTrips for Kids. Kirsten Graves, a Registered Dietitian, led the trip with the assistance of a team of biking instructors from Trips for Kids. After the trip, a grandmother could not suppress her delight on seeing big smiles on the faces of the kids, including her granddaughter, who initially hadn't wanted to leave the house in the morning. And a mother who accompanied her children said that all her children enjoyed the trip, including the one who hadn't wanted to go.

When Dr. Nyamora heard about what parents were saying, he stated that this was one of the most important things about Endurance's activities as it helps parents and caregivers know that once their child comes out and gets active, they love it. He stated, "sometimes parents just have to make their children leave the house and experience all these activities and learn that they can have fun and accomplish all types of things including a challenging bike ride. And they get to meet some interesting people along the way. It's more fun than TV and video games." He is proud of all the families.
